Favourite project
2019 Queensland Bushfires recovery planning – to date, the largest bushfire event in Queensland which required a significant recovery response across all levels of government. As DRFA advisor to the State Recovery Coordinator, I worked within bushfire impacted communities, undertaking impact assessments to develop DRFA business cases for extraordinary funding packages. During this time I also worked with local governments to develop recovery plans for their communties, as part of the State Recovery Plan for the disaster. A key highlight was capturing lessons learned from the event to support resilience building.
