Pilot Incident Management Exercise, NSW State Emergency Service

NSW SES was seeking support to design and facilitate a realistic upper-limit Exercise to train for unimaginable events. The intention of the Exercise was to increase capability by testing functions and incident management teams in a safe space environment. NSW SES needed an opportunity to test teams of various levels of experience in the State Command Centre under conditions as close as possible to what they could experience in an active event. Yellow designed and facilitated a pilot incident management Exercise for the NSW SES State Command Centre, preparing teams through workshops and a full-scale live simulation. The exercise tested the end-to-end incident management process and featured a complex dual-event scenario with more than 50 injects.
